Official Giveaway Rules

These rules apply to every Tamil Trekker challenge on tamiltrekker.com. Each challenge page shows its own dates, number of questions, qualifying score and rewards, and those details form part of these rules.

Who can take part

• Anyone aged 18 or over, in any country, with a WhatsApp number, where taking part is allowed by local law.
• One account per person and per mobile number, and one entry per number in each challenge. Creating extra accounts to improve your chances will disqualify every account involved.
• Taking part is free. No purchase or payment is ever needed.

How a challenge works

• Sign in with your WhatsApp number and a one-time code, and add your name and city.
• You receive a set of questions picked at random for you from the challenge question bank. Each question can be answered once.
• You qualify for the draw if you answer at least the number of questions correctly that the challenge requires.
• If you do not qualify, a challenge may give you another try with a new set of questions. Once you qualify, no further tries are needed or allowed.
• After you submit, we show how many of your answers were correct and how many were wrong. We do not show which ones.
• Answers are checked by our system. Correct answers are not shown while a challenge is running.
• Each challenge is open for a limited time shown on the challenge page (often 24 hours). Answers after it closes are not accepted.
• Some challenges end with a short survey about the series. Survey answers are never scored and do not affect your chance of winning.

Choosing winners

• Some challenges give rewards instantly: if you qualify, you win one of the remaining rewards straight away, picked at random, until all rewards are given out. The challenge page says when this applies.
• Other challenges choose winners after they close, by a secure computer-generated random draw among everyone who qualified.
• Each person can win at most one reward per challenge. Where possible, we give a different reward to people who won the same reward in an earlier challenge.
• The number and value of rewards are fixed in advance and shown on the challenge page.

Claiming a reward

• Winners see their reward in My Rewards and must claim it within the claim window shown there (usually 72 hours).
• Cash rewards are paid only by UPI to an account in the winner's own name, which needs a UPI-enabled bank account (for example an Indian or NRE/NRO account). We cannot pay cash by other methods.
• Postcards and gifts can be sent to an address anywhere in the world. Delivery times vary by country, and we are not responsible for customs or postal delays.
• Unclaimed rewards expire and may be given to another qualifying participant through a fresh random draw.
• We may ask for reasonable verification before paying a reward. Rewards are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for something else.
• Any tax that applies to a reward under Indian law will be handled as the law requires, which may include deduction of tax at source.

Fair play

We may review, withhold or cancel a reward where we have reasonable grounds to believe there was cheating, use of multiple accounts, automated entries, false details or any attempt to interfere with the challenge. Shared Wi-Fi or a shared family address on its own is not treated as cheating.

Changes and decisions

We may pause, change or cancel a challenge if something outside our control affects its fairness. Our decisions on eligibility and winners are final, subject to applicable law.
